Frequently asked questions
Which formats can I convert to JPG?
PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF, and HEIC/HEIF (the format iPhones use). For animated GIFs, the first frame is converted.
What happens to transparent areas?
JPG doesn't support transparency, so any transparent parts are placed on a white background during conversion.
Why convert HEIC to JPG?
HEIC is the default on newer iPhones but many apps and websites can't open it. Converting to JPG makes your photo work everywhere.
